Mark Jano Necesito aka. "Jaro Daily" has been practicing photography since 2008. “Bubblup” was the first fashion related concept he did in a studio. It was one of his first works in fashion photography that received alot of good reviews.
This made him aim to study more on the subject. During his third year doing freelance photography, he started doing open-shoots for the likes of people who wanted to model for his portfolio, thus gaining him more followers thru advertisements and ad campaigns. Jaro also started doing a street-snap fashion photography called “XING Street Fashion Project” which garnered a lot of commendations. The project is an inspiration from his former part-time job in FRUiTS (Japan).
Jaro is a Multimedia-Arts undergrad from Asia Pacific College, he was only taught a few techniques on Adobe Photoshop & some basics in Photography.
However, due to his passionate drive in learning those fields, he practiced Photography & Photoshop three years at home with only the tutorials online as his resource. The first camera he used was an 8 megapixel Sony Ericsson phone-camera; during those days, he was self-sufficient in teaching himself various techniques found in the internet helping him hone his craft to its maximum potential.
He got his first DSLR on the year 2008, and began practicing every intermediate tutorial about fashion photography, asking his colleagues & friends to model for his conceptual photoshoots. His first style before was more on photo-manipulation, where he makes everything look surreal. Year 2009, he was exposed to the fashion industry by his friends in La Salle College International. He then started working with different fashion designers for their portfolio, mostly with Kristine Lacroix-Bautista and her Japanese trend inspired designs. His post-processing style has now emerged into a different genre of photo editing, less photo-manipulation and more on natural; for he believes that this is the true essence of photography.
He has also collaborated with his co-photographers, mostly projects with Chai Mungcal since both of them USE more asian-inspired concepts, and less western and mainstream themes. F.O.B Photography practices surrealism and fantasy mixed with Fashion Photography and Arts. F.O.B stands for “Fresh off the Boat”, basically all the models we get and/or hire are all asians. The word fob, as heard in the US, is a coin-term for immigrants coming from the pacific ocean (eg. S. Korea, Japan, the Philippines, China, thailand, Vietnam, etc.). FOB’s in pop culture is defined as stylish, fresh, and funky people who’ve just moved in to the West.
